Tips for indie authors

Author’s chair

on September 9, 2013

Author chair
I was browsing in a bric-a-brac store the other day and I came across this chair and I knew I just had to have it. I felt so mature, buying myself a 1950’s designer chair, thinking of all the grandiose thoughts I would have sitting in it! Also, being an author I imagined coming up with inspiring and creative thoughts for my next book. It took a week before I was able to pick it up and I very proudly placed it into position, marvelling at my good taste. And do you know what, all I have done so far is sit and eat cereal on it in the morning!
But now the weather has become a little inclement, that signals the start of another writing season for me. Most of my writing, if not all has been done in various cafes around the world, which is a lot quieter now that the kids have gone back to school. But now I have my comfy author’s chair there is no excuse for me not writing at home now as well. I’ll just have to avoid the temptations of the cereal box!

Thanks a lot for your interest in my post, I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
